The transition from full to tuck is one of the first transition that you can learn in the handstand on two arms, but very often you fall and don't understand why.

Often it is thought that the issue is on the pelvis retroversion, but it is actually a weight distribution problem caused by body positioning.

The solution is very simple as you have seen. Bring your feet in the direction of your belly and pay attention to always maintain maximum shoulder thrust, otherwise you will slide forward and fall towards the belly.
